Presidential School admission 2027: dates, stages and conditions
Updated: 7 October 2026
The 2027 intake will run much like 2026 did: the agency announces exact dates each May or June. Below are the verified figures and deadlines.
Who can apply?
- A pupil who has finished year 4 and is moving into year 5.
- An annual mark of 5 (excellent) in maths and natural science in year 4.
- Only to the Presidential School of the pupil's own region.
There is no limit by age or by type of school (state or private): the conditions are the marks and the region.
Which documents are needed?
- Birth certificate.
- A photo taken within the last 2 months.
- A parent's or guardian's passport details and phone number.
- A copy of the year 4 marks sheet certified by the school head.
Everything is online: the form is filled in at ariza.piima.uz and documents are uploaded as scans or photos. There is no paper application and no fee.
Dates: application, exams, results
| Step | When | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Application | 1–20 June | at ariza.piima.uz, free |
| Stage 1 | Late June (2026: 25 June) | Maths, 30 test questions |
| Stage 1 results | Within 20 days of the exam (2026: by 15 July) | The 480 highest scorers at each school go through |
| Stage 2 | Mid-July (2026: 17 July) | Critical thinking 40 + English 40 |
| Final result | Within 30 days of stage 2 | 24 pupils per school |
Exam days move a little from year to year, but the order holds: apply in June, stage 1 in late June, stage 2 in July, results before August.
Stage 1: maths
30 multiple-choice questions on the year 1–4 maths syllabus. They are harder than the textbook: most take two or three steps and careful reading.
Selection is per school: of everyone who applied to a given Presidential School, the 480 with the highest scores go to stage 2. The competition is with pupils from your own region. Topics and a plan are on Stage 1 maths.
Stage 2: critical thinking and English
Two parts on one day: 40 maths questions on critical thinking and problem solving, and 40 English questions on grammar and reading.
What if scores are tied?
Under the 2026 admission rules a tie is broken in this order: first the score on category S tasks, then B and A; then the younger candidate; if still tied, the admissions board sets an extra task.
A preparation plan: September to June
- September–December. Maths topics one by one, 15 minutes a day. Aim for over 80% on each topic.
- January–March. One timed 30-question mock exam a week; go back to weak topics.
- April–May. Add critical-thinking problems and English; keep the mock exams going.
- June. Revise, apply between 1 and 20 June, rest before the exam.
Prezi Prep follows this plan: topic tests, weekly mock exams, English vocabulary and analytics that show which topic needs attention.
